"No Judgement, Just Fun!"

 

Hit the waves with your friends and other adults who are learning! Adult Night is an affordable and fun way for adults to learn to surf. The group sessions are run exactly the same as private one-on-one lessons, except you are in the water with the instructors and a group of students. Everyone will be in the water at the same time, everyone will have a board and suit, and everyone will be having fun! You will be given group instruction as well as one-on-one attention from our team of instructors. Just bring a swim-suit and a desire to learn to surf. We’ll take care of the rest!

 

Your instructor will work with you to help you get accustomed to the mechanics and timing of the waves as well as teach you the skills to enjoy riding them. If you have surfed a few times before, this class will help refine your techniques and develop a foundation for more advanced maneuvers.

Our Adult Night offers:

• Professional instruction from a staff with more than 60 years of surf experience

• Brand new boards and wetsuits from Rip Curl

• Maximum student to instructor ratio of 5:1

• Convenient location at Jenness Beach across from Summer Sessions Surf Shop

• The opportunity to meet new people and learn to surf in a fun and comfortable environment

 

Our Surf Class will emphasize:

• Development of balance and strength

• Safety and etiquette

• Judging and catching waves

• Paddling, standing up, turning, and riding down the line

• The Staff at Summer Sessions has over 30 years of coaching experience on the seacoast. Our team prides themselves on their training technique and guarantees to have you up and riding on your very first day in the water!

• Coaches are CPR Certified with First Aid Equipment on hand
